Last week, we released our butterflies. We were so happy that so many of them chose to stick around and land on the kiddos' hands. It was such a bittersweet moment!

Field Trip to Barkhausen
We had a blast on a beautiful day at Barkhausen this week! The 2nd graders learned about recycling and natural resources. Thank you so much to all of the wonderful parents that joined us!! I appreciate your extra support!

Last week, we had a special visitor... "Mrs. Anderson," my mom! She was a teacher at Bay Port for over 35 years and after retiring in 2008, now loves to come and visit my class once each year. The kids had a blast listening to her read one of my favorite books, take a reading group, and of course... make fun of me. ;)
Interest Fair
We are so proud of the five kiddos from our class that participated in the Interest Fair! We loved learning more about the topics they are passionate about.
