The third graders are learning about seeds and plants in science lately. They have had opportunities to plant various seeds, learn about plant adaptations in different environments, watch radish seeds grow and perform different experiments with various types of seeds to see how they fall. The have also done some buddy reading about the life cycle of seeds. Most recently, the planted grass to make "grass heads." They are experimenting with the way the grass with grow based on how they lay their grass head (in a cup, on it's side, on it's back, etc.). We are excited to continue watching them grow!
P.S. Check it out! This sweetie recently lost a tooth!
We hope the Tooth Fairy was good to you! :)
